Appliqué (1)
The edge of the appliqué fabric is sewn with a compact zig-
zag, so it is suitable for the appliqué of cut fabric.

Turn the hand wheel towards you and
start sewing along with the outer side of
the appliqué fabric.

Cut the appliqué fabric at the nish
line, put it on the base fabric and x it
temporarily.
It is recommended to use both-sided adhesive interlin-
ing or the similar to x the appliqué fabric on the base
fabric. Use the interlining to the edge of the appliqué
fabric.

When sewing steep angles, keep the needle inside
the fabric, raise the presser foot, change sewing
direction and sew slowly.

Keep the needle inside the fabric
at the point of arrow and raise the
presser foot.

At the end of sewing, press the lock stitch
button to sew lock stitches.
* Usually center needle position is used for appliqué
stitches but right or left needle position can be used.

and 69 for elongation of the decorative patterns 2.
