Cleaning and care
For hygienic reasons the appliance interior, including interior
accessories, should be cleaned regularly.

Warning!
The appliance must not be plugged into the mains when being
cleaned. There is a risk of an electric shock! Before cleaning,
switch off the appliance and unplug it, pull the fuse or switch
off the circuit breaker.
Never clean the appliance with steam cleaners. Moisture could
penetrate into the electrical components, there is a risk of an
electric shock! Hot steam can cause damage to plastic parts.
The appliance must be dry before it is placed back into service.
Attention!
Ethereal oils and organic solvents can attack plastic parts, e.g.
Juice from lemon or orange peel;
butyric acid;
Cleaners that contain acetic acid.
Do not allow such substances to come into contact with the
parts of the appliance.
Do not use any abrasive cleansers.

Remove frozen food and wrap it in several layers of newspaper.
Store it in a cool place, well covered.

Defrost the appliance prior to cleaning (see "Defrosting" sec-
tion).

Switch off the appliance and unplug it, or pull the fuse or switch
off the circuit breaker.

Clean the appliance, including the interior fittings, with a cloth
and warm water. Use some washing up liquid in the water if
necessary.

After cleaning wipe with fresh water and rub dry.

When everything is dry, replace the food and switch the
appliance on again.
