Install New Toilet
(Instalar nuevo inodoro)

• Inspect closet oor ange.
• If it sits recessed below the bathroom oor, then press 2 wax rings rmly onto the
ange. If the ange sits slightly above the bathroom oor, then only press 1 wax ring
rmly onto the ange.
• ATTENTION! Do not install wax ring onto the bottom of the toilet bowl. Pressing the
wax ring onto the closet oor ange rst ensures that you can align the bowl rst
before creating a seal. It is recommended that 2 people perform the following steps.
• Lower the toilet carefully onto the closet oor ange.
• While lowering, make sure that the mounting holes are aligned with the closet oor
bolts. See Figure 4
• Use your body weight to push the toilet down straight onto the wax ring until it rests
at on the oor and shims (if needed).
• ATTENTION! Do not twist the toilet or rock it back and forth as this will destroy the
waterproof seal.
• Thread a washer and a nut onto each closet oor bolt. See Figure 5
• CAUTION! Do not overtighten the nuts, as this will cause damage to the toilet’s
porcelain base.
• Inspeccione la brida del piso del armario.
• Si se asienta debajo del piso del baño, presione 2 anillos de cera rmemente sobre la
brida. Si la brida se asienta ligeramente sobre el piso del baño, solo presione 1 anillo
de cera rmemente sobre la brida.
• ¡ATENCIÓN! No instale el anillo de cera en la parte inferior de la taza del inodoro.
Al presionar primero el anillo de cera sobre la brida del piso del armario, se puede
alinear el tazón antes de crear un sello. Se recomienda que 2 personas realicen los
siguientes pasos.
• Baje el inodoro con cuidado sobre la brida del piso del armario.
• Mientras baja, asegúrese de que los oricios de montaje estén alineados con los
pernos del piso del armario. Ver Figura 4
• Use el peso de su cuerpo para empujar el inodoro hacia abajo directamente sobre el
anillo de cera hasta que descanse en el piso y calce si (es necesario).
• ¡ATENCIÓN! No retuerza el inodoro ni lo mueva hacia adelante y hacia atrás, ya que
esto destruirá el sello impermeable.
• Enrosque una arandela y una tuerca en cada perno del piso del armario. Ver Figura 5
• ¡PRECAUCIÓN! No apriete demasiado las tuercas, ya que esto dañará la base de
porcelana del inodoro.
