• For DVD VIDEO: During playback
For Audio CDNideo CD: In any condition except
Video CD playback with PBC
1 Press ON SCREEN.
The on-screen display appears on the TV screen.
2 UseCURSORA/v to move to [REPEAT],
then press ENTER.
Each time you press ENTER, the repeat mode
changes as follows depending on the disc type and
unit's status:
• During DVD VIDEO playback

The selected mode is also shown on the on-screen
display, however, it is shown in the different way
from the display window. The following table
shows the relation between them.

To stop repeat playback
Press •.
When a DVD VIDEO disc is set, the unit stops playback
and quits the repeat mode.
When an Audio CD or Video CD disc is set, the unit
stops playback but does not quit the repeat mode.
To quit repeat playback
Perform one of the following:
* Press REPEAT until the repeat mode indicator
goes off in the display window.
* When E_>points [REPEAT], press ENTER
repeatedly until [REPEAT] returns to its original
color.
NOTES
• When the program playback mode isactivewith an
AudioCD or Video CD,the repeat mode changesin the
same manner (i.e. toggles among REPEATALL, REPEAT
1 and no indication). Note that, however,in the
"REPEATALL" mode the unit repeats all the
programmed tracks, instead of all trackson the disc.
• If (_ appears when pressing ENTERin step 2 above
during DVD VIDEO playback
You cannot repeatthe title or chapter because of the
disc contents.
• Repeat playbackfunction cannot be used duringVideo
CD playbackwith PBCfunction.
• Toturn off the on-screendisplay
Press ON SCREEN.
