About this instruction manual
This instruction manual is written in the following manner.
Regarding operations for MP3 discs, see "MP3 disc playback" on and after page 41. The other sections of this manual
basically do not refer to MP3 disc playback.

You can play tracks on an AUDIO CD or Video CD discs in
random order by using the Random function.

While stopped
1 Press ON SCREEN.
The on-screen display appears on the TV screen.
se CURSOR A/T to move [_ to [RANDOM].

The color of [RANDOM] changes.
The unit starts random playback.
The "RANDOM" indicator appears in the display
window on the front panel. After playing all tracks
of the discs, random playback ends.
The same track will not be played back more than once
during random play.
During Audio CD playback, pressing ENTER when I_ points
[RANDOM] quits random mode and continues playback in
the normal order.
* To quit random playback in the middle
Press •. The unit stops playback and quits the random
playback mode.
