*USDA recommends steak to be cooked to an internal temperature of 145°F and allow to
rest for at least 3 minutes for food safety.
*Recommended steak doneness guide:
400°F/10 mins for Rare, 400°F/10.5 mins for Medium-Rare, 400°F/ 11 mins for Medium, and
400°F/12+ Mins for Well-done. These recommendations are for a 11 oz / 310 g steak at
room temperature before starting the cooking process.
*For baking a full cake, preheat for 5 minutes or add an additional 5 minutes to your
cooking time).
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Unpack the appliance and its accessories (trivet, basket). Wash the
accessories in hot, soapy water and then wipe them dry. Wipe the
interior of the frying cavity with a damp cloth or sponge, and then dry
with a paper towel. Make sure the cavity is dry before operating the
unit.
Position the Digital Smart Fryer on a flat, level and heat-resistant
surface, making sure that it is also positioned at least 6 inches (15 cm)
away from any surrounding objects.
It is recommended to let the Digital Smart Fryer heat on the highest
