With the wash tub and drain hose drained of all water,
follow these directions to remove, clean, and reinsert the
pump lter.
1. “Unscrew” the lter and pull it out.
2. Dump foreign contents from the lter tray and inspect
the opening for any loose objects.
3. Rinse the lter completely before putting it back in
place.
NOTE
Always keep a rag nearby to clean any water spills.
NOTE
You may have to add about 2 quarts of clean water
through the mainwash detergent compartment to reprime
the drain pump.
4. “Screw” lter back in place until it stops. DO NOT
overtighten.
5. Reinstall pump cleanout door.
IMPORTANT
Check to make sure O-ring is in place before reinserting
pump lter. Take care to not cross threads when turning
pump lter during reinsertion.

BURN HAZARD
Do not attempt to manually drain the drum if it is full of
hot water. Allow water to cool before proceeding with
manual draining.

collect water as it drains.
