3 Overview The VM-100YC is a high quality 1:10 s-Video Distribution Amplifier for s-Video (Y/C) signals. It accepts one input, provides correct buffering and isolation, and distributes the signal to 10 identical outputs using 4-pin connectors. The looping connector can be used to connect to a local display or other Y/C acceptor, or to create larger systems (for example, connecting three VM-100YC units to make a 1:30 s-Video Distribution Amplifier).
# Feature Function 1 POWER Switch Illuminated switch for turning the unit ON or OFF 2 INPUT 4-pin Connector Connects to the s-Video source 3 LOOP 4-pin Connector For looping (if required) to increase the number of outputs 4 TERM Button Pushing in selects 75; releasing selects Hi-Z (for looping select Hi-Z) 5 OUT 4-pin Connector Connects to the s-Video acceptors (from 1 to 10) 6 12 VDC +12V DC connector for powering the unit VM-100YC - Overview 5
4 Connecting the VM-100YC i Always switch off the power to each device before connecting it to your VM-100YC. After connecting your VM-100YC, connect its power and then switch on the power to each device. To connect the VM-100YC as illustrated in the example in Figure 2: 1. Connect the s-Video source (for example, an s-Video player) to the INPUT 4-pin connector. 2. Connect the OUT 4-pin connectors to up to 10 s-Video acceptors (for example, s-Video recorders). 3.
