STOP Prior to Installation: · Make sure you have all necessary parts by checking the diagram and parts list. If any part is missing or damaged, please contact Kraus Customer Service at 800-775-0703 for a replacement. R · Read all instructions and safety warnings and ensure you have all tools, parts, and equipment necessary for a safe installation. · Turn off the hot and cold water supply at the angle stops and turn on the old faucet to release any built up pressure. Remove existing faucet.

Step 1a: Installing the easy install assembly (without escutcheon) Shut off the water supply. Remove the old faucet. Clean the mounting surface. Check for the proper thickness of the sink or countertop. Insert the base (a) into the sink or countertop. If your model does have a escutcheon, skip to step 1 b. a b NOTE: “Front” on the base (a) must face the front of the sink or countertop. The two mounting plates (b) on the base (a) must be loose and movable during the installation of the base (a).
Step 2: Installing the easy install assembly J J a Fig 1 a C C b 1 b 1 Fig 2 J J a a C b Fig 4 1 C b Fig 3 1 Press the base (a) so that it can not move, then turn the screw with the provided hex wrench (C, HEX: 6.0mm) clockwise, as shown in Fig 1. When the mounting plates (b) make contact with the sink (1), continue to turn the screw with the provided hex wrench (C, HEX: 6.0mm) clockwise, as shown in Fig 2, until the base (a) is completely tightened and secured, as shown in Fig 4.
Step 3: Installing the faucet B I 3 2 1 a Insert the hose (1), supply lines (2) and quick connect hose (3) one by one through the hole of the base (a). Carefully insert the hoses into the base. Place the faucet assembly onto the base (a) as shown in the above figure. Secure the faucet assembly (B) by tightening the set screw with the provided hex wrench (I, Hex: 2.5 mm).
Step 4: Installing the counterweight Install the weight clip (G) at the point of the hose marking "weight here". Insert the weight (F) onto the weight clip (G) by sliding it down onto the weight clip (G). Weight here F Weight here G Step 5: Connect waterlines to main valve Attach waterlines to angle stops and tighten until snug. Turn on angle stops and check for leaks (DO NOT TURN FAUCET ON). NOTE: Please make sure filter washers are installed before connecting to the main valve.
Step 6: Flush faucet Pull the hose assembly out of the spout and remove the spray head (A) by unscrewing it from the hose in a counterclockwise direction. Be sure to hold the end of the hose down into the sink and turn the faucet on to the warm position where it mixes hot and cold water. Flush the water lines for one minute. This flushes away any debris that could cause damage to internal parts. Check for leaks. Retighten any connections if necessary, but do not overtighten.

Troubleshooting If you have followed the instructions carefully and your faucet still does not work properly, take the following corrective steps: PROBLEM CAUSE ACTION Leakage under the handle. Bonnet nut (9) has come loose. Remove the cover button (12). Loosen the set screw (11) with the hex wrench (15). Remove the handle (10) and cap (9). Tighten the bonnet nut (8) with an adjustable wrench. The aerator has an irregular or reduced water flow. The aerator is dirty or misfitted.
