5. Highlight an option to designate the number
as
General, Work, Home, Mobile, Pager, or
Fax and press . You can also add email
addresses, street addresses, Web page URLs,
and a note. The associated icon will appear
next to the entry in your Contacts directory
and Recent Calls list.
Editing a contact
1. Press and hold up to select Contacts.
2. Highlight a contact and press .
3. Highlight the contact name or number and
press the left softkey to select
Edit.
4. Enter your changes and press the left softkey
to select
Save.
Erasing a contact
1. Press and hold up to select Contacts.
2. Highlight the contact to erase and press .
3. Select Options.
4. Highlight Erase Contact and press .
5. Press the left softkey to confirm.
Sending a vCard
You can send contact information as a text
message or via a Bluetooth
®
wireless connection.
1. Press and hold up to select Contacts.
2. Highlight the contact to send as a vCard and
press .
3. Press the right softkey to select Options.
4. Highlight Send as vCard and press .
5. Select via Text Msg or via Bluetooth
®
.
– If you select via Text Msg: Enter a
recipient’s phone number and press the
left softkey to select
Send.
– If you select
via Bluetooth
®
, the phone
displays all available Bluetooth
®
wireless
technology enabled devices that can
receive the vCard. If none are detected,
you have the option to
Find New. Refer to
“Connecting to a Bluetooth® wireless
technology device” on page 65 for
instructions.
Note: When Bluetooth
®
is set to Off or On
Invisible, it will be temporarily turned on to
enable the connection. When the transmission is
complete, the message
Bluetooth OFF displays.
