■ Complete installation and operating instructions are
provided separately with the SmartBox™ .
■ Use customer supplied wire nuts and other
appropriate electrical terminals when interconnecting
the SmartBox™ to the heater.
■ Refer to labels on wires for connections.
■ Ensure proper electrical wiring gauge for main power
supply from SmartBox™ to heater.
■ Use 18 gauge electrical wiring for supply of DC volts
from SmartBox™ to Smart Sense™ variable rate gas
control on heater.
A. 115 Volt main power wiring from SmartBox
™
to
heaters.
Connect leads as shown in Fig.7 to heating Zones 1
and 2.

a. Connect Smart Sense™ gas control valve wiring for
Zones 1 and 2 at SmartBox™ leads as shown in
Fig.8.

b. Route the wiring from these leads through the gas
inlet hole at the heater’s case. See Fig.9.
c. Attach 1/4 in. insulated female terminals to these
wires and connect to either terminal on the valve.
