Complete installation and operating instructions are
provided separately with the SmartBox.
Use customer supplied wire nuts and other
appropriate electrical terminals when interconnecting
the SmartBoxto the heater.
Refer to labels on wires for connections.
Ensure proper electrical wiring gauge for main power
supply from SmartBoxto heater.
Use 18 gauge electrical wiring for supply of DC volts
from SmartBox to Smart Sense variable rate gas
control on heater.
A. 115 Volt main power wiring from SmartBox
to
heaters.
Connect leads as shown in Fig.7 to heating Zones 1
and 2.

a. Connect Smart Sense™ gas control valve wiring for
Zones 1 and 2 at SmartBoxleads as shown in
Fig.8.

b. Route the wiring from these leads through the gas
inlet hole at the heater’s case. See Fig.9.
c. Attach 1/4 in. insulated female terminals to these
wires and connect to either terminal on the valve.
