Problem
LED Flashing
One Time
Air proving switch
contacts are closed
before fan motor is
started. Flash pattern
begins immediately, fan
does not run. heater

continuity check on air-
proving switch.)

Replace air-proving switch
Rapid Flash
Reverse polarity. Have electrician check neutral and hot wire
connections at outlet that heater is connected to. Ensure wiring to
ignition control is correct. If all is good, replace igntion control module
Long Flash
Two seconds
on, two
seconds off
repetitively
for 15 minutes.
Heater has attempted two ignition trials. Heater is in a 15 minute wait period before attempting its third
(final) trial for ignition. If ignition is not achieved after the third trial, the heater will lock out and the
ignition control module will provide the three flash pattern. Either shut the heater off and then turn on,
or wait for the heater to retry the third ignition trial.
Is air-proving switch
arm or paddle binding
on housing? Is there
an obstruction in
heater outlet?
Repair and/or remove obstructions. check for
damaged fan housing. Clean or repair as
needed.
