Cut a 4 1/8” or 6 1/8” hole through the outside soffit panel or use existing hole.
Corte 4 1/8” o 6 1/8” agujero a través del panel exterior del sofito o utilice el agujero
existente.
Starting from the exhaust source, feed the duct through the pre-cut soffit panel opening.
A partir de la fuente del extractor, alimente el conducto con la abertura precortada del
panel del sofito.
Attach duct to collar using a clamp (Not Included) and tighten. Insert the duct and Soffit
Exhaust Vent into pre-cut opening making sure the facing is flush against the soffit
panel. Secure vent with screws (Not Included) to soffit, do not tighten. Note: Before
tightening screws, determine the use of the vent. For bathroom fan, leave the screens in
place. For clothers dryer, discard the screens or see warning on opposite side of box.
Tighten screws to secure the vent.
Ate el conducto al collar usando una abrazadera (no incluida) y apriete. Inserte el
conducto y el respiradero del extractor del sofito en la abertura precortada que se
cerciora de el revestimiento es rasante contra el panel del sofito. El respiradero seguro
con los tornillos (no incluidos) al sofito, no aprieta. Nota: Antes de apretar los tornillos,
determine el uso del respiradero. Para el ventilador del cuarto de baño, deje las pantallas
en el lugar. Para el secador de los clothers, deseche las pantallas o vea la advertencia en
el lado opuesto de la caja. Apriete los tornillos para asegurar el respiradero.
