the LANCOM Public Spot Option you provide your guests a
comfortable hotspot – with maximum design options for a
multitude of scenarios.

Comfortable self-authentication to the hotspot via SMS or e-mail
Multi-login – simultaneously online with several end devices
Quickly connected with the automatic re-login – after an initial
authentication, the hotspot stores the relevant client information so that
there is no need for an additional manual entering of login credentials

A hotspot solution is convincing if it is configurable effortlessly, guests get an easy
access to the Internet, and the hotspot provider is ensured that his own network
and his guest network are securely separated. The user-friendly wizard helps
setting up a secure hotspot solution.
Hotspot 2.0 – The next hotspot generation
WLAN as simple as cellular networking! The new WLAN standard IEEE
802.11u (Hotspot 2.0) allows for a seamless finding and selection of
the right WLAN. Authentication methods using SIM card information,
certificates or username and password, enable an automatic, encrypted login to
WLAN hotspots of roaming partners – without the need to manually enter login
credentials!
