The AF-480 reduces the feed pressure from the make-up system to the lower
operating pressure of the hydronic system. The backow preventer allows for
a safe connection between the two systems by preventing any possibility
of backow from the hydronic system into the potable water system. Set up
is simple with the built-in pressure gauge; just dial in the desired system
pressure to be maintained from 7 to 45 psi. The gauge can be mounted on
either side of the assembly for easy viewing in any mounting direction. The
pressure reducing valve is fully serviceable with removable lter cartridge
for easy cleaning or replacement.
