Advanced (Recording pictures)
How to focus
Focus will be fixed to the position set in the first picture for the [AF] (Auto Focus).
Focus will be set to the position adjusted manually for the [MF] (manual focus).
How the focus is set with the auto focus can be selected only when
[ ] or [ ] is selected.
It is initially set to [AF-CONTINUOUS] on the camera.
Focus on the subject and take a picture.
Keep the shutter button pressed down fully to activate Continuous Mode.
Frame rate Features
[ ]: 2 pictures/second
Suitable for moderate action shots.
Maximum recordable pictures: 100
[ ]: 5 pictures/second
[ ]: 11 pictures/second
It is suitable for recording fast movements, such as a bird
beating its wings.
Maximum recordable pictures: 15

60 pictures/second
It is suitable for recording split second actions that are
hard to see with the naked eye, such as water splashing.
Maximum recordable pictures: 50 (when
[ ] is selected)

When [ ] or [ ] is selected, the resolution setting will
become as shown below.
The range that can be recorded will become smaller when it
is set to [ ].
[AF-SINGLE]: The focus is fixed with the first picture of the
series.
[AF-CONTINUOUS]: The focus is adjusted for each recording in
the series.
Live View display is used instead of Auto
Review display during the series.
