Note
When [AF-CONTINUOUS] is set, focus prediction will be performed in a possible range to
prioritize the frame rate. Therefore, if you try to take a picture of a subject that is moving fast, it
may have trouble with focusing or it may take time to focus.
You can select only [ ], [ ], [ ], [ ], and [ ] when in Snapshot Mode.
When [ ] or [ ] is selected, [QUALITY] can only be set to [A] or []. If you select [ ] or
[ ] when [QUALITY] is [ ], [ ] or [ ], [QUALITY] will automatically change to [A].
The frame rate may become slower while taking pictures in [ ] or [ ] setting.
When [ ] or [ ] is selected, the exposure and white balance are adjusted for each
recording in the series.
When [ ], [ ], or [ ] is selected, exposure and white balance will be fixed to the settings
for the first picture. Depending on changes in the brightness of the subject, the recording may
be brighter or darker from the second picture.
Recording is performed by the electronic shutter when [ ] or [ ] is selected, so the
recorded picture may appear warped.
When the Self-Timer is used, the number of recordable pictures in Continuous Mode is fixed to
3.
If you are following a moving subject while taking pictures in a place (landscape) indoors,
outdoors etc. where there is a large difference between the light and shade, it may take time
until the exposure is stable. If Continuous mode is used at this time, the exposure may not
become optimal.
The frame rate (pictures/second) may become slower depending on the recording environment
such as in dark places, if the ISO sensitivity is high etc.
Continuous Mode is not canceled when the camera is switched off.
Due to the limited amount of the internal memory, the use of Continuous Mode may be limited.
We recommend having an SD card installed for reliable Continuous Mode operation.
If you take pictures in Continuous Mode with the internal memory, it will take time to write the
picture data.
[Œ] is set for the flash when Continuous mode is set.
Auto Bracket, White Balance Bracket or Multi Film Bracket is canceled when Continuous
mode is set.
The Continuous Mode cannot be used in the following cases.
In [PIN HOLE] in My Color Mode.
In [PANORAMA ASSIST], [FLASH BURST], [STARRY SKY], [FIREWORKS],
[PHOTO FRAME] and [HIGH SPEED MOVIE] in Scene Mode.
You cannot set [STABILIZER] to [AUTO] or [MODE2] when Continuous Mode is set.
[AF-CONTINUOUS] cannot be selected when recording motion pictures.
[AF-CONTINUOUS] does not work when using AF lock.
Face Recognition information is attached only to the first picture of the series during recording
with face recognition. (However, the whole group is treated as Face Recognition pictures
during [CATEGORY PLAY].)
