OPERATION
1. Remove the screw of PIR sensor unit and Receiver unit from battery cover, and open the
battery door.(Fig.1)
2. Install an alkaline 9V batteries (not included) for PIR sensor, 3x1.5 "C-size" batteries for
receiver to the battery compartment make sure install with correct polarity. (Fig. 2)
3. Hang the PIR sensor at the entrance of your driveway (such as on a mailbox, on a tree or on a
ground stake). You may also place the PIR sensor on your garage, near the front entrance or
rear door. Any movement nearby will transmit a signal to the receiver chime unit triggering it to
signal the chime.(Fig.3)

4. Please ensure to place the PIR sensor unit at least three feet high above the ground.
5. High/Off/Low switch of receiver
Turn the switch to High position, the unit will standby to Chime mode, when PIR sensor detected
trigger, will sound door chime and the led will light up. You can turn HI/LOW switch to select door
chime sound volume.
6. To test the PIR sensor unit detection area
After selecting a location for installing of the unit you can turn the switch to Chime and wait for
30 seconds for "WARM-UP". Then you try walking in front of the unit. When the unit detects
motion, the chime will sound. There will be no chime sound if you walk beyond the detection
range. By testing the detection range, you can adjust the location of sensor angle for best
coverage. Turn the chime off after your test.
7. Battery low indicator
A) PIR sensor
When PIR sensor batteries goes low, the LED will lighting to indicate the low battery. Please
replace the new battery.
B) Receiver
When receiver batteries goes low, the LED of the middle will lighting to indicate the low battery.
Please replace the new battery.
8. Power adapter (not included) for receiver unit with output 6V DC, 200mA female plug, center
( + ) positive can be applied to the DC jack for long time use.
