3.Verifythepropermemorycongurationandcompatibilityincludingthemaximummemorysizeandthe
memoryspeed.

Networkingproblems

Ethernetproblems
•Problem:Yourcomputercannotconnecttothenetwork.
Solution:Ensurethat:
–TheLenovoUSB2.0EthernetAdapterisconnectedcorrectlytoyourcomputer.
–Thecableisinstalledcorrectly.
ThenetworkcablemustbesecurelyconnectedbothtotheLenovoUSB2.0EthernetAdapterandto
theRJ45connectorofthehub.Themaximumallowabledistancefromthecomputertohubis100
meters.Ifthecableisconnectedandthedistanceiswithinacceptablelimitbuttheproblempersists,
tryadifferentcable.
–Youareusingthecorrectdevicedriver.
1.ClickStart➙ControlPanel➙HardwareandSound➙DeviceManager.Ifyouareprompted
foranadministratorpasswordorconrmation,typethepasswordorprovideconrmation.
2.Iftheexclamationmark!isdisplayednexttotheadapternameunderNetworkadapters,you
mightnotbeusingthecorrectdriverorthedrivermighthavebeendisabled.Toupdatethedriver,
right-clickthehighlightedadapter.
3.ClickUpdateDriverSoftware,andthenfollowtheinstructionsonthescreen.
