TheUniedExtensibleFirmwareInterface(UEFI)BIOSisapartofthesystemprogramsthatmakeupthe

updatetheUEFIBIOSandtheThinkPadSetupprogrambystartingyourcomputerwithaashupdate
opticaldiscorashupdateapplicationrunningintheWindowsenvironment.
Insomeinstanceswhenyouaddsoftware,hardware,oradevicedriver,youmightbeinformedthatyou
needtoupdateyourUEFIBIOSinorderforthenewadditiontoworkproperly.
