ENGLISH I M P O RTA N T S A F E T Y I N F O R M AT I O N HOW TO AVOID DAMAGE TO THE APPLIANCE •• Prior to using your cooktop for the first time, apply the recommended cooktop cleaning creme to the ceramic surface. Buff with a nonabrasive cloth or pad. This will make cleaning easier when soiled from cooking. The special cooktop cleaning cream leaves a protective finish on the glass to help prevent scratches and abrasions. •• Do not use the cooktop as a worksurface or storage space.
C O O K WA R E T I P S Selecting Cookware POTS AND PANS USE FLAT-BOTTOMED COOKWARE The better the pot, the better the cooking results. Cookware must fully contact the surface of the cooking element. Use flat-bottomed pans sized to fit the cooking element and amount of food being prepared. Check for flatness by rotating a ruler across the bottom of the cookware. •• You can recognize good pots and pans by their bases. The base should be as thick and flat as possible.

AVOIDING SCRATCHES TIPS FOR SAVING ENERGY: It is recommended to always use heavier gauge stainless steel cookware on your ceramic cooktop surface. This will help reduce the possibility of developing scratches on the ceramic surface. Low-quality cookware can scratch the cooktop surface. •• Always position pots and pans before you switch on the Cooking Zone. Cookware should always be lifted over the ceramic cooktop surface to prevent scratching.

ENGLISH PA RT S A N D F E AT U R E S Touch Control Features LOCATIONS OF SURFACE ELEMENTS AND CONTROLS The surface burner elements are positioned in the same locations on the cooktop and the control panel for ease of use.
O P E R AT I N G I N S T RU C T I O N S Before Using the Cooktop Before using the cooktop for the first time, clean it thoroughly with the included cleaner or ceramic cooktop cleaner according to the Care and Cleaning instructions in this guide. This will help protect the ceramic surface and make future cleanup easier. CAUTION Never use scrub pads, abrasive or etching cleaners. They can cause permanent damage to the cooktop surface.
ENGLISH O P E R AT I N G I N S T RU C T I O N S Setting the Controls (cont.) SETTING THE POWER LEVEL WARNING The power level for the selected Cooking Zone can be set from 1 to 9. To select the power level: 1 Select the number on the element power settings for the active Cooking Zone to adjust the power level from 1 to 9. 2 Selecting 7 will activate the Cook Zone. After activating the Cook Zone, the indicator lights will flash once and lock your selection.
O P E R AT I N G I N S T RU C T I O N S Setting the Controls (cont.) WARM To activate: The cooktop has a WARM setting feature that can be used on all Cooking Zone except the Warming Zone element. Touch the ON pad to activate the desired Cooking Zone and touch the WARM pad. The selected Cooking Zone will be set to the LOW setting. The indicator light above WARM will turn ON. To change the power level: Touch the ON pad and select a new number on the element power settings.
ENGLISH O P E R AT I N G I N S T RU C T I O N S Using the Triple Cooking Zones (LCE3610SB only) The Triple Element, located in the center position, offers three different size elements to accommodate different pan sizes. To Activate the Triple Cooking Zone 1 Touch the ON pad. The inner most element will activate. 2 Touch the ON pad again to activate the center and middle areas (Dual Element). The indicator light below the D (Dual)will turn ON.
O P E R AT I N G I N S T RU C T I O N S Using Child Lock You can lock the entire cooktop at any time when it is not in use. Locking the cooktop will prevent Cooking Zones from being turned on accidentally. SETTING CHILD LOCK The cooktop must be OFF to set the CHILD LOCK function. If it is not OFF, touch and hold the POWER pad for approximately 2 seconds. The indicator above the POWER pad will turn OFF. CANCELING CHILD LOCK To turn off CHILD LOCK, touch and hold the CHILD LOCK pad for 3 seconds.
ENGLISH CARE AND CLEANING Cleaning the Cooktop NORMAL DAILY USE CLEANING ONLY use Ceramic Cooktop Cleaner on the glass cooktop. Other creams may not be as effective or they might damage the surface with scratches or permanent staining. Esto ayudará a proteger la superficie cerámica y facilitar la limpieza futura. PRECAUCIÓN Nunca utilice esponjillas para fregar o limpiadores abrasivos o fuertes. El nivel de energía de la zona de cocción seleccionada puede configurarse de 1 a 9. Para seleccionar el nivel de energía: 1 Seleccione el número de las configuraciones de energía del elemento para la zona de cocción activa para ajustar el nivel de energía de 1 a 9.

Presione la tecla ON para activar la zona de cocción deseada y presione la tecla WARM (calentar). La zona de cocción seleccionada quedará en la configuración LOW (baja). La luz indicadora ubicada sobre WARM se encenderá.

Para activar la zona de cocción triple 1 Presione la tecla ON (encendido). Se activará el elemento ubicado más en el centro. 2 Presione de nuevo la tecla ON para activar las áreas central y del medio (elemento doble).

Bloquear la estufa evitará que las zonas de cocción se enciendan accidentalmente. CÓMO CONFIGURAR EL BLOQUEO PARA NIÑOS La estufa debe estar apagada (OFF) para poder configurar la función CHILD LOCK (bloqueo para niños). Si no se encuentra apagada, presione y sostenga la tecla POWER por aproximadamente 2 segundos.

Cette opération protège la surface en céramique et facilite les nettoyages suivants. MISE EN GARDE Ne jamais utiliser de tampons à récurer ou de nettoyants abrasifs ou décapants.
C O N S I G N E S D ' U T I L I S AT I O N RÉGLAGES DES COMMANDES (suite) RÉGLAGE DU NIVEAU DE PUISSANCE Le niveau de puissance pour la Zone de Cuisson peut varier de 1 à 9. 1 Choisissez le numéro sur les réglages de la puissance de la Zone de Cuisson active pour ajuster la puissance de 1 à 9. 2 En choisissant 7, vous activez la Zone de Cuisson. Après avoir activé la Zone de Cuisson, le voyant indicateur clignotera une fois et verrouillera votre sélection.

Touchez ON (Marche) pour activer la Zone de Cuisson désirée et touchez WARM (Maintien au chaud). La Zone de Cuisson sélectionnée sera réglée sur LOW (Faible).

FRANÇAIS Pour activer la Zone de Cuisson Triple 1 Touchez ON (Marche). L'élément intérieur s'activera. 2 Touchez à nouveau ON (Marche) pour activer les zones au centre et au milieu (Élément double).

En verrouillant la table de cuisson, vous éviterez d'allumer accidentellement les Zones de Cuisson. POUR ENGAGER LE CHILD LOCK (VERROUILLAGE ENFANTS) La table de cuisson doit être éteinte pour pouvoir engager le CHILD LOCK (Verrouillage enfants).
E N T R E T I E N E T N E T TOYAG E Nettoyage de la table de cuisson ENTRETIEN QUOTIDIEN 1 Avant d'utiliser la table de cuisson la première fois, nettoyez-la avec un nettoyant pour table de cuisson en céramique ou avec le nettoyant fourni. Ceci aide à protéger la table et à en faciliter le nettoyage ultérieur. 2 Utilisez quotidiennement un nettoyant pour table de cuisson en céramique ou le nettoyant fourni pour aider à préserver l'éclat du neuf de la table. 3 Agitez bien le nettoyant avant de l'appliquer.
