Getting Started with Your Phone The Battery Note It is important to fully charge the battery before initial use of the phone. G ett i n g S ta r te d w i t h Yo u r P h o n e The phone comes with a rechargeable battery. Keep the battery charged while not in use in order to maximize talk and standby time. The battery charge level is shown at the top right corner of the LCD screen. Installing the Battery 1. Press down on the battery cover and slide it down to remove it. 2.
Charging the Battery 1. Attach the charger to the phone. Make sure that the LG logo faces down and the ‘B’ side faces up when inserting the plug into the charger/ accessory port. 2. Plug the charger into a wall outlet. NOTICE Please make sure that the 'B' side faces up before inserting a charger or USB cable into the charger /accessory port of your phone. The battery charge level is shown at the top right corner of the LCD screen.

Press and hold until the LCD screen turns off. Signal Strength Call quality depends on the signal strength in your area. The signal strength is indicated on the screen as the number of bars next to the signal strength icon The more bars, the better the signal strength. If the signal quality is poor, move to an open area.
Note 4. Press to end the call. Correcting Dialing Mistakes If you make a mistake while dialing a number, press once to erase the last digit entered or hold down for at least 2 seconds to delete all digits. How to Install Your microSDTM Card 1. Locate the microSDTM slot on the right side of the phone and gently uncover the slot opening. (The microSDTM slot cover stays attached to the phone so it does not become lost.) 2.

Quick Access to Convenient Features Quick Volume Adjustment Sets your phone to require a 4digit Lock Code in order to use the phone. Use the volume keys to adjust the ringer volume while in standby mode and the earpiece volume, during a phone call. The upper volume key increases the volume and the lower volume key decreases the volume. Note Until you change it, the default Lock Code is the last 4 digits of your phone number. To quickly lock your phone press for three seconds.
