ENGLISH TIPS FOR SAVING ENERGY Here are some tips that will help you minimize the power consumption when you use the air conditioner. You can use your air conditioner more efficiently by referring to the instructions below: • Do not cool excessively indoors. This may be harmful for your health and may consume more electricity. • Block sunlight with blinds or curtains while you are operating the air conditioner. • Keep doors or windows closed tightly while you are operating the air conditioner.
Operation • Do not damage or use an unspecified power cord. - There is risk of fire, electric shock, explosion, or injury. • Use a dedicated outlet for this appliance. - There is risk of fire or electrical shock. • Be cautious that water could not enter the product. - There is risk of fire, electric shock, or product damage. • Do not touch the power switch with wet hands. - There is risk of fire, electric shock, explosion, or injury.
ENGLISH • Use power cables of sufficient current carrying capacity and rating. - Cables that are too small may leak, generate heat, and cause a fire. • Do not use the product for special purposes, such as preserving foods, works of art, etc. It is a consumer air conditioner, not a precision refrigeration system. - There is risk of damage or loss of property. • Keep the unit away from children. The heat exchanger is very sharp. - It can cause the injury, such as cutting the finger.

ENGLISH Burrs removal - Completely remove all burrs from the cut cross section of pipe/tube. - Put the end of the copper tube/pipe to downward direction as you remove burrs in order to avoid to let burrs drop in the tubing. Opening shutoff valve 1 Remove the cap and turn the valve counter clockwise with the hexagon wrench. 2 Turn it until the shaft stops. Handle Do not apply excessive force to the shutoff valve. Doing so may break the valve body, as the valve is not a backseat type.
! CAUTION Pipe must be able to obtain the specified thickness and should be used with low impurities. Also when handling storage, pipe must be careful to prevent a fracture, deformity and wound. Should not be mixed with contaminations such as dust, moisture. Refrigerant piping on three principles Drying Cleanliness Airtight Should be no moisture inside No dust inside.

ENGLISH Preparation Work - Use Knock Outs of Base Pan of the outdoor unit for Left/Right or Bottom pipe drawing outs. A B 9 The Multi V will stop due to an abnormality like excessive or insufficient refrigerant. At such a time, always properly charge the unit. When servicing, always check the notes concerning both the piping length and the amount of additional refrigerant. 10 Never perform a pump down. This will not only damage the compressor but also deteriorate the performance.

ENGLISH ! CAUTION ! WARNING • Use the 2-core shield cables for communication cables. Never use them together with power cables. • The conductive shielding layer of cable should be grounded to the metal part of both units. • Never use multi-core cable • As this unit is equipped with an inverter, to install a phase leading capacitor not only will deteriorate power factor improvement effect, but also may cause capacitor abnormal heating. Therefore, never install a phase leading capacitor.
NOTE • The figures are based on assumed length of parallel cabling up to 100m. For length in excess of 100m the figures will have to be recalculated in direct proportion to the additional length of cable involved. • If the power supply waveform continues to exhibit some distortion the recommended spacing in the table should be increased.
