USB charging ports
Smartphones and tablet PCs can be charged via two built-in USB charging ports(25).
NOTICE!
Risk of property damage!
Use only undamaged USB cables. This prevents damage to your devices and the
lamp.
Note:
The ports are only used to charge the connected devices. No data is transmitted.
– Connect the devices to be charged to the charging ports(25) using an appropriate USB
cable.
Operating the app
The VITACORE
®
app turns your lamp into a flexible lighting tool. It sets a personal 24-hour light-
ing sequence for the user.
It varies the light intensity and light colour automatically, thus simulating the natural change of
light during the course of the day.
The app communicates with the VITACORE
®
control via a Bluetooth
®
connection and detects
any LUCTRA
®
lamp. In this way, the personal lighting profile is transmitted to every lamp.
Note:
The VITACORE
®
app is available as a free download in the App Store

and on
Google Play
TM
.
– Install the app.
– Activate Bluetooth
®
on your smartphone or tablet PC.
– Switch the lamp off and back on again once by tapping the
On-Off touch button(21) on the VITACORE
®
control panel.
• The app can now find the lamp within 45 seconds.
– If the pairing is unsuccessful during this time, switch the lamp off and back on again.
• The corresponding lamp now appears in the app with details of the serial number.
• You can now enter a name for the lamp instead of the serial number and then connect this
to your smartphone or tablet PC.
Note:
You can connect and control up to two lamps with the app. The connection terminates
if you exceed a specific distance between the smartphone or tablet PC and the lamp.
This distance is approx. 8–- m depending on the structure of the building.
