Inside Mount:
ƔMeasure the width and
length of the window’s
opening.
ƔSelect shade size that will
fit into the window’s
dimension.
ƔInside mount requires a
minimum window depth
of at least 1 ¾”

Outside Mount:
ƔMeasure the area of the
window that you want to
cover.
ƔInclude window frame and
any overlap on the surroun-
ding wall to maximize light
control and privacy.
ƔTo allow space for moun-
ting the shade brackets,
you must have at least 2”
of flat surface above the
top of the window frame.

Lowering shade:
Push button and lower shade.
Raising shade:
To raise shade, push the button
and push the shade to desired
height.

Inside mounting:
Mount the brackets to the top
of the window frame and use
the top bracket holes to secure
brackets.
Outside mounting:
Center the shade over the
window opening at the desired
height and use the rear bracket
holes to secure brackets.
When mounting the brackets ensure
that they are aligned with each other
to allow proper installation of the
head rail. Lift and move the head rail
into position until the bracket is fixed
inside the grove located on the back
& front of the head rail.

Cut
If you need to cut down the shade to fit a window,
you can use the included utility knife. Start by
sticking the adhesive ruler stickers on to both ends
of the bottom rail to make measuring easier. The
maximum reduction is 9” from either side of the
shade, 18” total. An equal reduction on each side
of the shade will ensure a balanced and attractive
look. Peel off the ruler sticker from the bottom rail
when finished.
Note: Remove head rail and bottom rail end caps
before trimming and replace after trimming is
complete.
