Installation Guide

INSTALLATION:
1. Kit installs on door stop.
Measure distance
between threshold and
top of door along door
stop. Cut both long
strips to length. Cut
metal with hacksaw and
vinyl with scissors.
2. With door closed place
one long strip on door
stop along hinge side.
Install with fasteners so
that the vinyl
compresses against
door. Install other long
strip on latch side. (It
will be necessary to drill
pilot holes in steel door
frames.)
3. Cut short strip and install
along top door stop so
it fits snugly against
strips mounted on sides
to prevent leakage at
corners. Install with
fasteners included.
INSTALACIÓN:
1. El juego se instala en el
tope de la puerta. Mida
la distancia entre el
sardinel y el borde
superior a lo largo del
tope de la puerta. Corte
ambas tiras al largo.
Corte el metal con una
segueta y la espuma
con tijeras.
2. Con la puerta cerrada,
coloque un burlete
largo en el tope de la
puerta en el lado de las
bisagras. Instale con los
sujetadores provistos de
modo que la espuma se
comprima contra la
puerta. Instale el otro
burlete largo del lado
de la cerradura. (Será
necesario taladrar
orificios piloto en los
marcos que sean de
metal).
3. Para evitar filtraciones
por las esquinas, corte
el burlete pequeño e
instálelo a lo largo del
tope superior del marco
de la puerta de modo
que quede apretado
contra los burletes en
los lados verticales.
Instale con los
sujetadores provistos.
