Equipment used in areas where explosive concentrations of vapors may exist must be equipped with special enclosures,
wiring and other electrical apparatus for safety purposes. Hazardous (classified) locations such as these might exist in
petroleum refineries, gasoline storage and dispensing areas, spray finishing areas, aircraft hangars or fuel servicing
areas, utility gas plants and operations involving storage and handling of liquified petroleum gas or natural gas. In order
to make sure the correct equipment is used, these environments are broken down into classes, divisions and groups to
more specifically identify the hazards; for example Class 1 for Gases, Vapors and Liquids - Division 1 for Normally
explosive and hazardous - Groups A, B, C and D (A - acetylene, B - hydrogen..., C - ether..., D - hydrocarbons, fuels... ).
5100-XX-IT Series Toxic Gas Sensors
The 5100-XX-IT Toxic Gas Sensor Modules utilize electrochemical sensors to monitor
