4.3.8Groutjointsize:Toaccommodatetherangeinfacialdimensionsofthetilesuppliedforaspecific
project,theactualgroutjointmay,ofnecessity,varyfromthegroutjointsizespecified.Theactual
groutjointsizeshallbeatleastthreetimestheactualvariationoffacialdimensionsofthetilesupplied.
Example:fortilehavingatotalvariationof1/6inchinfacialdimensions,aminimumof3/16inchgroutjoint
shallbeused.Nominalcenterlineofalljointsshallbestraightwithdueallowancesforhand-moldedor
rustictiles.Innocircumstanceshallthejointbelessthan1/16inch.
