smoking. Avoid all eye and skin contact and do not breathe vapour and mist.
6.1.1. For non-emergency personnel
Protective equipment
:
Chemical goggles or safety glasses. Clothing impervious to chemical penetration. Wear
suitable gloves resistant to chemical penetration. In case of inadequate ventilation wear
respiratory protection.
Emergency procedures
:
Evacuate unnecessary personnel.
6.1.2. For emergency responders
Protective equipment
:
Wear suitable protective clothing and gloves. Chemical goggles or safety glasses. Where

Avoid release to the environment.
6.3. Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
For containment
:
Absorb and/or contain spill with inert material, then place in suitable container.
Methods for cleaning up
:
Soak up spills with inert solids, such as clay or diatomaceous earth as soon as possible. Take
up in non-combustible absorbent material and shove into container for disposal. This material
and its container must be disposed of in a safe way, and as per local legislation.
6.4. Reference to other sections
Section 13: disposal information. Section 7: safe handling. Section 8: personal protective equipment.
SECTION 7: Handling and storage
7.1. Precautions for safe handling
Additional hazards when processed
:
Handle empty containers with care because residual vapours are flammable.
Precautions for safe handling
:
No open flames. No smoking. Use only non-sparking tools. Avoid breathing mist/vapours/spray.
Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Take precautionary measures against static
discharge.

container and receiving equipment.
Storage conditions
:
Keep in fireproof place. Keep container tightly closed. Store in a dry, cool and well-ventilated
place.
Incompatible products
:
Strong oxidizers.
Incompatible materials
:
Heat sources. Sources of ignition.
Prohibitions on mixed storage
:
Keep away from incompatible materials.
