The BCO codes operate in a similar way to those used in Italy. Coin output A is active to
indicate to the machine that the Acceptor is in BCO Mode. Coin output E is active when a
correct code is given to the machine. This effectively becomes the Parity used by the
machine to authenticate that a current shown code is correct. This should be used in Even
Parity. Coin outputs B, C, E and D become the 4 code states indicating which coin is
accepted.
