Twist
one
bracket
to disengage
evaporator
drip
tray
from
evaporator
tubing.
Unsolder
the capillary
tube and
the
suction
line
from
the
freezer
coil.
Clean
the
tubes
with
emery
cloth.

the cap
tube
is
not
plugged
up
before
inserting
it
into
the
freezer
coil.

the
heat
exchanger
to the
replacement
freezer
coil
and
solder
all
the
joints.

soldering

joints,

joints

leaks.

insert

heat exchanger
through
the
tube
entry
hole

push
it all

the
foam drip
tray.
Bend
the freezer
coil
toward the
foam
drip
tray and connect
the
ground
wire
to the drip
trough
tray.

radiant
heater
and
termination
thermostat.

wire leads.

heat exchanger

down
the cabinet
back
and
into
the

Make a
112" offset

the

tube and
insert
it into
the new

new drier.

joints

visually
check
the
joint
for
leaks.
Evacuate,
leak
test and
recharge
the
system.
Test
run the unit
to make
sure
it is
operating
properly.
Pinch the
process
tube and
cut off
the
service
valves.
Solder
the
joint
and
test
for leaks.
REPLACING
FREEZER
EVAPORATOR
Side-By-Side
Models
The following
general
information
explains
how to successfully
replace
the
treezer evaporator
for any
side-by-side
model covered
in this
manual.
1. Disconnect
the unit
from
Power
source.
2.
Remove
the
machine
comPartment
cover.
3.
Remove
the
tube
clamp
from the
heat
exchanger.
4. Install a
service
valve as
close as
possible
to
the tip of
the
process
tube.
This will allow
easy
pinch
off
when
recharging
the system.
