Post-installation best practices guidelines
We recommend that you complete the following tasks after you install the
software.
n If you installed a new ePolicy Orchestrator database, we recommend that you
assign a password to the System Administrator (
sa) user account. For
instructions, see Securing ePolicy Orchestrator databases in the ePolicy
Orchestrator 3.0 Product Guide or Help.
n Define maintenance settings for ePolicy Orchestrator databases. For
instructions, see Maintaining ePolicy Orchestrator databases in the ePolicy
Orchestrator 3.0 Product Guide or Help.
n After you define the Directory and policy settings, back up the database. For
instructions, see these topics in the ePolicy Orchestrator 3.0 Product Guide or
