Configuring the Port Settings for Brocade Switches 3200 and 3800
The Speed and ISL R_RDY Mode should be configured using the following procedure. The
Brocade port connected to the UltraNet Edge 3000 should be configured to 2G (step 2 below).
1. Enter the
portcfgshow command to display the current port settings:
Switch:admin> portcfgshow

where AN:AutoNegotiate, ..:OFF, ??:INVALID.
The current speed for port 0 (zero) is set for Auto Negotiate, indicated by the AN.
2. To configure the port speed, use the following command syntax:
Switch:admin> portcfgspeed 0,2

Success: configuration allowed.
