Setting time

pressure monitor. If the blood pressure monitor is no longer being used, first
remove the connector from the blood pressure monitor and then pull the mains
adaptor out of the mains socket. Doing this means that the date and time will
not have to be reset each time.
Your MEDISANA MTX blood pressure meter is equipped with a radio clock
controlled by the DCF77 signal. This automatically sets the time and date. If
there is no DCF77 signal within range, the time is not set automatically.
Automatic setting:
1. Switch on the device using the ON/OFF switch
on the back.
- : - -
“ appears on the display.
2. The display
automatically switches to receiver mode. As soon as the
device receives the time signal, the radio clock symbol
flashes on the
display every second until the device has finished receiving the DCF77
signal.
NOTE
If you do not wish to set the time or you want to take a
measurement immediately, exit the time setting mode by
pressing the START button
.
3. During the automatic time setting procedure, the radio clock flashes first
with 1, then 2 and then 3 bars above it. When the symbol appears with 3
bars, the time has been set. First the date and then the time are displayed
at the top right of the display. Then the time is displayed permanently
together with the radio clock symbol .
NOTE
It takes approx. 2 to 4 minutes for the date and time to
be set automatically. If no signal is received within 4 minutes,
- : - -
appears on the display.
You can now set the clock manually or improve the reception
by moving the device to another location. If you move the
device, you have to re-insert batteries or reset radio clock to
ON to restart the automatic setting.
Manual setting:
Switch the device to standby mode. If you do not press any buttons for
1 minute during the time setting, the time setting mode switches off and
- : - -
“ appears in the clock display.
