The stainless steel cleaning agent con-
tains aliphatics with special cleaning pro-
perties. Propellant: Propane/butane. Pres-
surized can. Protect from direct sunlight and
temperatures above 50° C. Do not force
open or burn after use. Do not spray into fla-
mes or onto red-hot objects. Do not breathe
in fumes; provide good air circulation. Keep
out of reach of children. Do not spray into
eyes.
After breathing in: Relax, fresh air, poss.
seek doctor’s advice. After body contact:
Remove soiled clothes, wash thoroughly
with water. After eye contact: Rinse imme-
diately with plenty of water. After swallo-
wing: Rinse mouth out immediately, poss.
seek doctor’s advice.
The cleaning tablet contains potassium
carbonate and sodium carbonate peroxohy-
drate. Irritates eyes and skin. Swallowing
endangers health. Keep away from children.
Store in a cool and dry place.
Do not mix with other products.
After bodily contact: Remove soiled clo-
thing, wash thoroughly with water. After
breathing in: Consult doctor if problems
arise. After skin contact: Wash immediately
with plenty of water, rinse well. After eye
contact: Rinse several times under running
water with eyelid open. In case of persistent
pain, consult doctor. After swallowing: Swill
mouth and drink plenty of water. Consult
doctor if problems arise.
NOTE: This epuipment has been tested and
found to comply with the limits for a Class A
digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the
FCC Rules. These limits are designed to
provide reasonable protection against harm-
ful interference when the equipment is ope-
rated in a commercial environment. This
equipment generates, uses, and can radiate
radio frequency energy and, if not installed
and used in accordance with the instruction
manual, may cause harmful interference to
radio communications. Operation of this
equipment in a residential area is likely to
cause harmful interference in which case
the user will be required to correct the inter-
ference at his own expense.
13. Maintenance
Technical equipment components are sub-
ject to natural wear and tear and must the-
refore be regularly exchanged.
If no water filter is used, the machine must
be regularly descaled in the case of hard
water supply.
Components relating to the machine’s safe-
ty must be checked regularly, in accordance
with valid regulations.
External water filters must be checked with
regard to their efficiency and renewed no
later than every 12 months.
Maintenance work by our technical service
staff may also be charged during the war-
ranty period, e.g. if the machine is defective
due to dirt or scaling.
We recommend taking out a service con-
tract with our Technical Service staff for the
maintenance of this machine.
All repair and maintenance work on the
machine may only be carried out by
MELITTA SystemService, or a specialist
authorized by the company.
After approx. 30,000 brewing processes,
the machine must be serviced at the
owner’s expense.
According to accident prevention regulation
BGV A2 (formerly VBG 4) of the German
trade association, the operator is obliged to
have this electrical appliance tested for
safety in regular intervals by an authorized
electrician. The time interval between two
inspections for this mounted device is no
more than 4 years. It corresponds to BGV
A2 and does not need to be tested further
before initial operation.
The prescribed inspection can, on request,
be carried out and confirmed by MELITTA’s
Technical Service.
