2. Drill four 13.5 mm (17/32 in.) mounting holes.

3. Install the outboard so that the anti‑ventilation plate is in‑line or within
25 mm (1 in.) of the bottom of the boat.

4. Apply marine sealer to shanks of bolts. Do not apply marine sealer to the
threads of the bolts.
5. Fasten outboard with provided mounting hardware shown. Tighten the
locknuts to the specified torque.
