Replace the spark plugs. Refer to Spark Plug Inspection and
Replacement.
Inspect the timing belt. X
Inspect the wire harness connectors. X
Check the remote control cable adjustment, if equipped. X
Check the power trim fluid level, if equipped. X
Inspect the engine mounts. X
Replace the water pump impeller.
NOTE: Replace the water pump impeller more often, if overheating
occurs or reduced water pressure is noted.
