Appendix B
Default Settings
The scanner is shipped from the factory programmed to a set of default
conditions. The default parameter of the scanner is marked with an asterisk
( * ) in the charts on the following pages. If an asterisk is not in the default
column then the default setting is Off or Disabled.
Every parameter is not supported by every communication. If the commu-
nication supports a parameter listed in the charts on the following pages, a
check mark will appear.
In order for the scanner to communicate with the host system properly, it needs
to be programmed to meet the specific scanning needs. Since each host system
is unique, change the default settings to match the host system requirements.
Refer to the Programming Guide MLPN 2366, for informa-tion on how to
change the default settings.
