Installation
1
Make certain that the device you want to protect accommodates
the universal IEC female plug. This is the same kind of plug that
you are used to seeing on the back of your desktop computer. It
is also used on a TV, Projector, Stereo, Preamp Processor,
Subwoofer and many other valuable electronic appliances.
Female IEC Plug
Meets all UL and Electrical code
requirements. A licensed
electrician is NOT required for
installation.
2
Insure that power to your device that you want to protect is de-
energized. Unplug the power cord from the wall socket and
remove the IEC plug from your device.
NOTE: This should be operated from a branch circuit with a
minimum of a 15 Amp circuit breaker ran with 14-12 gauge wire.
3
Connect the 120-6B IEC female connector to the equipment
you want to protect. Now plug the U-Ground plug on the 120-6B
to the desired 110VAC wall socket. You are now Protected.
