ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE (FIG. 1)
1. Shut off the power supply at the fuse box or circuit breaker.
If necessary, remove the old fixture from ceiling including
the mounting hardware.
2. Carefully remove the new fixture from the packaging and
check that all parts are included as shown in the
illustration.
3. Install a 1/4" IPS pipe (Y1) (not provided) with one end
securely mounted to a beam of a structural member. The
other end should protrude through the center of the outlet
box as shown.
4. Secure the hex nut (Y2) onto the pipe (Y1) and then
secure the hickey (Y3) tightly.
5. Thread the tube (K) to bottom of the column (J).
6. Thread the tube (K) to the nipple (M).
7. Determine the desired hanging height and thread tube (H1
& H2) to the nipple (I). Pass the wires carefully through
each tube as you assemble.
8. Thread the loop (F) to top of the tube (H1 & H2).
9. Using quick link (G) hang fixture via loops (F) on bottom of
canopy (D) and top of the tube (H1 & H2).
MOUNTING THE FIXTURE (Fig. 1)
10. Feed the fixtures wires and safety cable through the
ceiling loop, and mounting plate (A) and allow safety cable
to exit through the side of hickey (Y3). Run safety cable
through the hickey (Y3) one circle and secure safety cable
with set screw assembly and set screws.
11. Attach the mounting plate (A) to the outlet box using the
outlet box screws (B). The side of the mounting plate (A)
marked “GND” must face out.
12. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2, making
sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your outlet box
has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the
ground wire from the fixture to it. Otherwise, connect the
fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate using
the green ground screw provided.
13. After wires are connected, tuck them carefully into the
ceiling junction box.
14. Attach the canopy (D) onto the mounting plate (A) by
protruding 2 mounting screws (C) through the mounting
holes of the canopy (D) and secure with the nuts (E).
15. Thread the caps (N) to the connectors (S) to hang the
upper steel ring (U).
16. Attach the longer support rods (W) to the hooks (V) on the
middle steel ring (U) to hang the middle steel ring (U).
17. Attach the shorter support rods (W) to the hooks (V) on the
lower steel ring (U)to hang the lower steel ring (U).
18. Secure the longest crystals (R) to the upper steel ring (U)
with the ball finials (T).
19. Secure the middle crystals (R) to the middle steel ring (U)
with the ball finials (T).
20. Secure the shortest crystals (R) to the lower steel ring (U)
with the ball finials (T).
21. Install T8 bulbs (not included) into the sockets (Q).
(DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!)
(NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE
MAXIMALE!).
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the outlet
box and test the fixture.
WARNING: This luminaire must be mounted or supported
independently of an outlet box.
