The controller technology of the magicolor 7300 is a hard-

ware/software combination designed to process and deliver

pages quickly and seamlessly. Controller features that lend

themselves to this include:

•Dynamic memory allocation

•Automatic language detection

•Automatic jam recovery

•Intuitive control panel menu

“Wrapped” around the 7300’s controller is a feature set

called Crown X, which ensures that any part of the printing

process involving customer interaction is convenient and

user friendly. Crown X is the auto-discovery of printers and

auto-installing software CD that simplify the set up and

installation process. It’s the intuitive management utilities

and color matching that automate printing activities.

Crown X is also responsible for providing product compati-

bility in terms of printer languages, drivers and network-

ing. Because of Crown X, magicolor 7300 customers are

ensured a positive printing experience.

ROCESSOR

Acting in conjunction with the magicolor 7300’s controller

and Crown X is a 266 MHz PowerPC 405 core processor.
