C ONTROL P ANEL
To convey printer status information and select printer con-
figurations and options, the magicolor 7300 has an easy-to-
use control panel. Its menu tree has been streamlined to pro-
vide intuitive navigation.
The magicolor 7300 doesn’t have to be taken offline to access
the menu tree, but the printer must be idle. Once idle, users
simply select the Menu button to begin navigation.
The
panel uses a two-line, 16 character LCD (liquid crystal dis-
play) message window, along with eight selection keys
and five LEDs (light-emitting diodes) with buzzer.
The LCD window displays the printer name and a status
message indicating the current state of the printer. This
display also shows users their options when reviewing or
altering settings through the printer’s control panel menu.
Messages can be displayed in eight different languages—
English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Czech, Japanese
(Katakana) and Brazilian Portuguese.
The eight keys on the front panel enable users to review
and change printer settings.
