name, connection type, and print time. (See “PageScope
Light” for more information.)
To retrieve supplies usage data for further reference and
manipulation, administrators have the following options:
Data stored for the life of the printer, (stored in non-
volatile RAM), is retrieved by printing a Statistics Page
from the printer’s front control panel.
Per-job supplies usage, stored on the printer’s hard
disk, is retrieved through PageScope Light. PageScope
Light accesses the accounting file from the hard disk
and filters the data based on user-requested parameters.
This data can be viewed on screen, printed, or exported
into a spreadsheet for further cost-per-page analysis.
(See “PageScope Light” for further details.)
P
OLYMERIZED
T
ONER
The magicolor 7300 uses an innovative toner technology in
conjunction with its contone-quality resolution to produce
exceptional output. Called polymerized toner, it’s com-
posed of smaller particles that are more uniform in size and
shape than conventional shredded toner to create finer
lines, better halftones, and improved image quality. It also
has a higher transfer efficiency then regular toner, further
contributing to output quality while producing less waste
toner. A lubricant encapsulated within the toner particles
eliminates the need for fuser oil, meaning users have one
less consumable to buy and replace.
