OULL LOVE THE WAY THIS COLOR LOOKS ON YOU: MAGICOLOR 7300 EN 53
Based on page content, the profiles used by the magi-
color 7300 are preset to produce the best output with no
user intervention. Called object segmentation, different
profiles are applied to rendering graphics/text and
images. In the default automatic mode, the Vivid profile
is used for graphics/text. It provides the most saturated
colors possible by mapping RGB solid colors to the
printer’s CMYK solid colors. For images, sRGB is the
default selection. The user can also choose the desired
profile for each object.
For custom color matching, downloaded ICC-compliant
profiles are supported. These profiles are normally
provided by the peripheral vendor. They can also be
created or modified using a utility software such as
ColorBlind Color Matchbox or Monoco EZColor. The
profiles can be downloaded to the printer through the
printer drivers or via Download Manager—a Windows
application for downloading profiles.
The magicolor 7300’s default
profiles are set to make graphics
and images look their best.
