OULL LOVE THE WAY THIS COLOR LOOKS ON YOU: MAGICOLOR 7300 EN 55
If a particular application does not support PANTONE
colors, but does allow process color specification, the
CMYK values may be entered directly. The magicolor 7300
can be used to print a complete set of PANTONE charts
with the appropriate CMYK values.
The advantages of using PANTONE as a color matching
system is it’s very easy to use, is widely supported, and is
great for spot color. However, it is not as accurate as other
methods of color matching, can’t be used for photographs,
and is limited to specific application software.

ALIBRATION
From day to day, and from one consumable change to the
next, toner density may change, ultimately affecting color
consistency. To help maintain color consistency and ensure
predictable color without user intervention, the magicolor
7300 automatically performs Enhanced Automatic Image
Density Control (eAIDC).
EAIDC occurs during these states:
During these states, the printer lays 16 patches of cyan,
magenta, yellow, and black toner on the transfer belt. A
sensor on the belt “reads” these patches and sends the
data to the printer’s engine where it sets a 100% density
point. The controller then uses this data to create new
look-up tables to maintain consistent output quality across
the entire tonal range, including highlights, mid-tones,
and shadows.
