Modem won’t
connect
Determine whether
modems are assigned
to answer and
originate.
Ensure one modem is set to
answer (AT

CA1) and one to
originate (AT

CA0).
Run an LAL pattern
test (AT&T8) on both
modems.
If errors are found on either
end, contact Motorola
customer service.
If the modem passes the test,
you may have line problems;
contact your telephone
company.
Check the modulation
configuration:
