for long periods of time may require a longer initial
charge time.
• Maintain the battery at or near room temperature
when charging.
• Do not expose to temperatures below -10°C (14°F) or
above 45°C (113°F). Always take your phone with you
when you leave your vehicle.
Extending Battery Life
• Turn off the screen saver

• Minimize keypad-intense functions
Activities that require intensive keystroke use (such as
playing a game or using messaging) reduce your
phone’s talk and standby time. Lock the keypad when
storing the phone in your purse or pocket to avoid
unnecessary keypad and backlight activations. See
page 36.
