Using the Symbol Method
In a text-entry screen, press > Entry Method > Entry Mode > and select
Symbol. An indicator tells you which method is active (see page 26).
1 Press number keys (one press per symbol) to show possible symbol
combinations at the bottom of the display.
2 Press
right or left to highlight the combination you want.
3 Press SELECT (
) to insert a highlighted combination.
You can press number keys to add more symbols to the end of the
combination
A space appears after the combination.
4 Press OK (
) to store the text.
