Entering Data
When entering data on the keypad, use either the single-hand method or the two-hand method as shown in
Figure 2-26.

Using the Power Button
Press the red Power button to turn the mobile computer screen on and off (suspend mode). The mobile
computer is on when the screen is on and the mobile computer is in suspend mode when the screen is off. For
more information, see Starting the Mobile Computer on page 1-9.
The Power button is also used to reset the mobile computer by performing a warm or cold boot.
• On Windows CE 5.0
- Warm Boot (Soft Reset) - Resets the mobile computer.
- Cold Boot (Hard Reset) - Resets the mobile computer, removes all added applications and restores all
factory default settings.
Single-hand Method
Two-hand Method
