Configuring for TCP/IP in Windows 2000
10 On the Local Area Connection # Properties window, make sure a check mark is in
the box next to Internet Protocol (TCP/IP). Click Properties. The Internet Protocol
(TCP/IP) Properties windows is displayed as shown on the lower left of this page.
Make sure that “Obtain IP address automatically” and “Obtain DNS server address
automatically” are selected.
11 Click OK to accept the TCP/IP settings.
12 Click OK to close the Local Area Connection # Properties window.
13 Click OK when prompted to restart your computer and then click OK again.
